Maths trip...12th December 2018

To develop logical thinking and problem solving whilst broadening horizons and developing team building skills, we travelled to the O2. From there with much trepidation travelled to the ExCel centre via the cable car over coming fears of heights and enclosed spaces. We had been stuying plans and elevations and used our height to look at the "birds eye view" of different structures.

When we arrived at our destination we were given a briefing on our mission to unlock the keys with a series of tests, puzzles and clues that combined to allow the unlocking of the rooms mystery and hopefully a successful escape, challenging them every step of the way.

Students worked in 2 groups with different students taking the lead to answer the various challenges.  They were keen and enthusiastic to complete the challenges and therefore beat the other group.

All students completed the challenges and commented on how much they enjoyed it asking when they could do it again.

All staff reported that behaviour was exemplary and how proud they were to take such delightful and enthusiastic students out for the day.
