BBAB students have had the unique opportunity to work with the Dallaglio foundation to learn the sport of rugby.
Each Friday a group of Year 9 and 10 students take part in learning rugby skills such has kicking, passing and communication. Through the sport, students are also learning the skills of discipline, teamwork and social skills. The students who are part of the team have been focusing their skill development ready for their tournament that takes place in June.
The vison of the Dallaglio foundation is:
‘Dallaglio RugbyWorks is an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on rugby, through which we aim to get teenagers outside of mainstream education into sustained education, employment or training.’
